Arthur Anker is the one of the leading world taxonomists of alpheid shrimps, but has also worked extensively on other biological aspects of caridean shrimps and general Decapod crustaceans. Currently working in Brazil, Arthur has travelled the world and worked in all oceans, collaborating with an extensive group of researchers and always supporting young students. Being a prolific academic writer with more than 120 peer-review publications to date, Arthur is also an incredible photographer, dedicated to the wonderful diversity of life forms.
